What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Substitute Teacher position at Diocese of Arlington Catholic Schools?
Our Lady of Good Counsel Preschool in Vienna, VA is seeking warm and nurturing substitute teachers to fill in on an as-needed basis. Candidates must be able to successfully work with a co-teacher to implement lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher. Candidates ideally should have a minimum of 1-2 years of classroom experience as a grade or subject level teacher, instructional assistant, or substitute teacher. A good rapport with children is essential, and experience working with preschoolers is preferred.
A teaching license is not required.
School hours are 7:45am-2:45pm. Substitute opportunities may include full days or partial days.
Hourly wage: $17.00 per hour.
