Job Overview

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Be a Welcoming Presence: Greet parishioners and visitors with a smile and handle phone calls with professionalism and warmth.
  • Keep Things Flowing: Manage office organization, maintain supplies, and handle incoming/outgoing correspondence.
  • Support Our Mission: Assist the Pastor and staff with scheduling, preparing materials (like the weekly bulletin and mass programs), and general correspondence.
  • Database Management: Keep parish records and databases accurate and up to date.

What We're Looking For:

  • Administrative Experience: Proven experience in an office or administrative role (church experience is a bonus). Associate's degree preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new parish software.
  • Top-Notch Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable and Discreet: A strong sense of confidentiality and reliability is a must.
  • Alignment with Mission: An understanding of, and respect for, the Catholic Church and its mission.
