Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Columbus, OH location who will support multiple attorneys and/or paralegals in the area of Medical Malpractice Litigation.
Responsibilities
- File and client management, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, online filings, time entry, expense reimbursements, travel arrangements, and other administrative support duties
Requirements
- Solid work history including 5-7 recent years providing administrative support
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including attorneys, paralegals and other assistants throughout the Firm
- Intermediate to advanced-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software
- Experience with E-filing (federal and state) a plus
- Experience using timekeeping software and document management systems
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen ability to multi-task
- Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to Litigation required
- Self-directed, high energy, and advanced computer skills
- Exposure to the following practice areas, or a desire and ability to learn these areas, is necessary: Commercial Litigation, Medical Malpractice, and TORT
