Dino Equipment & Outdoors is hiring a Parts & Service Advisor for our Batesville store. You are the link between our customers, our technicians and the manufacturers, and you keep the parts counter and the service shop running. This position can grow into Parts & Service Manager over time.
This is not a sit-around job. We need someone who can stay on their feet, handle multiple tasks at once, and communicate clearly with customers and technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Check in equipment when customers bring it in and write up the repair order
- Order parts for the technicians and keep every job moving
- Work with the manufacturer to process claims and get repairs approved
- Communicate with the technicians on job status, parts and timelines
- Keep customers updated on their repairs, parts and pickup
- Help customers at the parts counter and on the phone
- Schedule service work and keep the shop organized
- Help manage parts inventory and keep the work area clean
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (email, invoicing, parts lookup systems)
- Mechanical knowledge or equipment experience is a plus (tractors, mowers, etc.)
- Dependable and shows up on time ready to work
- Willing to learn and take direction
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in parts sales or service writing
- Knowledge of tractors, mowers, or outdoor power equipment
- Experience in a service department, repair shop or dealership

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
