We are looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in our Lady Lake, FL location. Required Qualifications: • Registered Pharmacy Technician License, active and in good standing with FL Board of Pharmacy • 1 years of Community Pharmacy Practice Experience
• High School Diploma
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
• Valid FL Drivers’ License
• Willing to work a rotating schedule 8 hours per day/ 40 hours a week, on 5 days of the following 6 days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat. Shift start time will rotate to start as early as 8:30am and shift end time will rotate to end as late as 5:30pm
Preferred Qualifications:
• PTCB National Certification: CPhT
• Bilingual in Spanish • Associates degree or higher Page 2 of 2
• Lead Pharmacy Technician Experience • Experience with Rx home delivery operations
• Experience with Rx30 platform
• Experience working as a part of a matrixed environment where leadership above the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge is offsite/remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
• In compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, e.g. HIPAA, OSHA, the Registered Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist by performing the following tasks on a rotating basis:
Triage incoming phone calls, emails, and messages o Place prescription Refill Request with provider offices via phone and/or electronically o Prescription Drop off Window o Prescription Order Entry into Computer o Prescription Filling & Labeling o Prescription Pick up & Offer to Counsel o Inventory Control: stocking shelves, performing cycle counts, ensuring in stock Rx count matches the prescription processing platform digital records, processing returns for expired and overstocked meds o Home Delivery Scheduling and oversight o Return to Stock, including calls and claim reversals o Clean Pharmacy and Waiting Areas, including removal of sensitive and nonsensitive trash o Troubleshooting and resolving patient issues related to yield the best patient experience possible and retain business o Maintain professional licensure and certification by completing all required continuing education o Must be able to lift to 30 pounds on occasion o Occasionally may need to cover home delivery (driving medications to patients at their place of residence, capturing signatures, etc.), to maintain business continuity o Other duties as assigned
