- Determine appropriate coverage and open claims accordingly.
- Monitor claim activity through resolution and advocate for fair, timely outcomes.
- Respond promptly to client and internal claims inquiries.
- Manage high-priority claims and provide regular updates to clients and account teams.
- Maintain loss runs, open claim reviews, and accurate claim documentation.
- Communicate with carriers to resolve service issues and strengthen partnerships.
- Support renewals by providing claims data and reporting.
- Attend safety and loss control meetings and collaborate on client presentations.
Position Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
- CIC, claims designation, or willingness to obtain preferred.
- 2 years of commercial insurance and/or commercial claims experience (agency or carrier side).
- 3 years of customer service experience.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance policies, coverage forms, and the claims process.
- Ability to analyze commercial claims, data, and reports to identify trends and issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Strong customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
