Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler to join our team in Gainesville, GA. This role is ideal for a well-rounded jeweler who enjoys a variety of bench work and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Our immediate need is a jeweler who can confidently handle day-to-day repair work and support our growing service department. This position is focused on general jewelry repairs, stone setting, sizing, restoration work, and maintaining the quality standards our customers have come to expect.

Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• Perform a wide range of jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, chain repair, soldering, and restoration work
• Re-tip and rebuild prongs to restore and protect cherished pieces
• Set and reset diamonds and gemstones, including fancy-shaped stones
• Evaluate jewelry and recommend appropriate repair solutions
• Maintain exceptional quality standards while managing repair volume efficiently
• Work independently at the bench while supporting the broader team and customer experience
• Help uphold the craftsmanship and reputation our customers have trusted for generations

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of bench jeweler experience preferred
• Strong foundation in jewelry repair and restoration techniques
• Experience with ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, and general bench work
• Ability to set a variety of stones, including round and fancy shapes
• Laser welding experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to complete a bench test as part of the interview process

Compensation

• $28 to $45 hourly based on experience, technical skill, productivity, and bench test results
• Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate
