Job Description
The detailer is responsible for keeping clean our new car inventory, for washing customer vehicles, and for performing pre-delivery for vehicles as necessary. This individual must be able to work in quick-paced environments and be detail-oriented. Experience is preferred.
Responsibities
- Models by example the Company’s mission statement by acts as an empowered, passionate, and positive associate who provides exceptional, personalized service for the Company’s guests and the community
- Ensures that the exterior of each customer's car is thoroughly clean before it leaves the service department
- Maintains effective car wash system to follow schedule for new car inventory maintenance and performs for spot delivery of new and used cars and customer clean-ups
- Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surface to protect surface and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine
- Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using vacuum cleaner
- Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devises
- Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 1-2 years of automotive detail experience REQUIRED
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment
- Ability to provide superior quality service to internal and external customers
- Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle
