Position: Sales Executive

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years' experience directly selling Ocean and/or Air freight services within a freight forwarder
• International Freight Forwarding Experience a MUST
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in English
• Bilingual or Asian language a PLUS but not required
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
• Solid understanding of the local territory and its market opportunities
• High emotional intelligence, personal integrity, and a hunter mentality
• Ability to travel locally to meet with clients
• Bachelor's Degree or higher (preferred) but not required

Responsibilities

• Seek out new clients and build a book of business through prospecting and networking — cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, and in-person presentations
• Generate business leads internally and externally, secure new business and grow customer base, develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Set and track sales targets, activity metrics, and other necessary KPIs to drive performance
• Meet the monthly revenue quota set by Sales Management
• Understand Asia Market and deeply knowledgeable about needs and trends.
• Present Dimerco's full-service offering: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Contract Logistics and Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage
• Maintain communication with internal teams and with overseas offices
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations
• Other assignments may be directed by the Management
