What You'll Do
As a Travel Installer I, you'll work alongside experienced installers to safely and efficiently install custom architectural elements, signage, graphics, and specialty components at client sites across the country.
Responsibilities Include
- Travel to project sites throughout the U.S. (typically 20 days per month)
- Install architectural elements, signage, graphics, and specialty components
- Read and follow shop drawings and installation plans
- Work alongside installation crews, Project Managers, and other trades
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Help load, transport, and install materials and equipment
- Maintain a safe, organized job site
- Communicate with your team while traveling and help solve challenges in the field
- Deliver the level of quality and craftsmanship DI is known for
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of installation experience in signage, construction, or a related trade
- Basic ability to read blueprints or shop drawings
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with vinyl and graphics installation is a plus
- OSHA and DOT certifications are preferred but not required
- Ability to obtain an MEC for DOT
- Must own basic hand tools and be comfortable using power tools
- Willingness to travel extensively, often with short notice
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
