- Interact with customers to market parts and service packages that focus on repairs, parts, annual inspections, and preventative maintenance contracts. Work closely with service and parts staff to ensure a seamless customer service approach. Continuously focus on profits and revenues, while ensuring superior quality and customer service for both internal and external customers.
- Generate service package and repair quotes for customers, always promoting complementary products and services.
- Build long term relationships with customer base, and focus on growth of customer base.
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Work with leadership to develop marketing strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, promotions, and payment and exchange policies. Provide rentals and safety training.
- Maintain sales records, and call reports in the customer database.
- Engage self as an active member of the Sales, Service and Parts Teams, working to support the team’s objectives and performance measures.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Forklift Batteries, Material Handling, Industrial Sales, or related industry preferred
- Drive for Continuous Learning and Knowledge of Material Handling "System Selling"
- Desire to Work in Indoor and Outdoor Environments
- Enthusiasm for Sales: From Prospecting to Closing, and a Drive to Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets
