Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Support the kitchen staff by handling food safely and following proper food handling procedures
- Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate timely service
- Help with basic cleaning duties in dining and service areas and washrooms to ensure a tidy environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly
- Support catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish
- Help with trash removal on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Weekend and evening availability preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cleaning, bussing, or supporting restaurant operations is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen or hotel environments can be a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintainingo attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role
