key responsibilities:
lead the design and implementation of robust ci/cd pipelines using azure devops.
manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure as code (iac) tools like terraform or arm templates.
oversee build and release processes, ensuring seamless deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and improve system reliability.
implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively manage cloud infrastructure.
mentor junior devops engineers and establish best practices within the team.
ensure compliance with organizational security standards and azure governance policies.
required skills & experience:
10 years of overall it experience with a strong focus on devops practices.
5 years of hands-on experience with azure devops and azure cloud services.
expertise in ci/cd tools and processes, including yaml pipelines.
proficiency with infrastructure as code (iac) tools – terraform, arm templates, bicep.
strong scripting skills with powershell, bash, or python.
experience with containerization technologies such as docker and orchestration tools like kubernetes (aks).
familiarity with monitoring tools like azure monitor, application insights, and log analytics.
excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
preferred:
microsoft azure certifications (e.g., azure devops engineer expert, azure solutions architect).
experience with github actions and gitops workflows.
