Customer Service/Inside Sales Vernon, CA 90058
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour meal break)
Occasional overtime and periodic Saturdays as needed
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Customer Service - Sales Rep to support daily office operations and customer account activities. This role is based in an office located within a manufacturing/shop environment, requiring comfort working in an industrial setting while maintaining a professional customer-facing presence. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in person
Manage customer accounts, inquiries, and general support needs
Create and process estimates and sales orders accurately and efficiently
Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule will-call pickups and deliveries
Perform data entry, document management, and general office organization
Verify customer and order information as needed
Accept and process payments (cash, credit cards, checks)
Assist with light material handling (dispensing small hardware items up to 20 lbs)
Maintain clear and professional communication across internal teams
Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or order processing preferred (1 years)
Proficient in using computers, POS, office technology, and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficient typing proficiency (40 WPM)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable working in an office environment within a manufacturing-industrial setting
Additional Requirements
Availability to work full-time with occasional overtime and Saturdays as needed
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
