What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Controller position at DiLeonardo International?
We are looking for a new Assistant Controller to support our team. We expect this person to have a “no task too big, no task too small” attitude with a natural inclination to get things done but have fun while doing it.

You will manage mostly accounting-related tasks in a creative design studio. To do this role properly you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be fast at solving problems, and have experience as an Assistant Controller or accounting in the past.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting with accounts receivables and payables
- Supporting Accounting Department
- Helping prepare for meetings.
- Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
- Processing transactions, issuing checks, updating ledgers, budgets etc.
- Preparing financial reports
- Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Controller or within a related accounting position.
- In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite.
- Minimum of Associate degree in Accounting
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
- Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience with Deltek preferred but not required
