Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and organized Dog Daycare Receptionist to join our team! This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our daycare, grooming, and walking services. The ideal candidate will be experienced in using Goose to manage appointments and maintain customer records as well as having a great customer service attitude for all our guests that enter!
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Front Desk Duties
- Greet customers and their pets with a welcoming and professional attitude.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and messages regarding scheduling, inquiries, and customer concerns.
- Check dogs in and out for daycare, grooming, and walking services.
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
Scheduling & Administrative Tasks
- Use Goose to schedule grooming appointments, daycare visits, and dog walks.
- Update and maintain accurate customer and pet profiles, including vaccination records.
- Coordinate with daycare staff and groomers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicate appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups with clients.
Facility & Pet Care Coordination
- Monitor lobby and ensure a safe and clean environment for pets and clients.
- Assist with basic pet handling when needed (e.g., guiding dogs to designated areas).
- Follow company policies and safety protocols regarding pet interactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in a Doggie Daycare and Customer Service REQUIRED.
- Proficiency in Goose or similar Pet Care software ( Gingr, Kennel Connection, Pro Pet, PetExec. ) REQUIRED
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Passion for animals and comfort handling dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of pet health and behavior is a plus.
