Dignity Hospice is hiring a Hospice RN to care for patients and families in the MetroWest area. You'll work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team to provide comfort, dignity, and support at the end of life, in private homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and hospice inpatient settings.

What you'll do
- Complete comprehensive assessments of patients and families and develop individualized, palliative plans of care
- Provide skilled nursing care, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and manage pain and symptoms
- Coordinate with physicians, community providers, and the interdisciplinary team
- Teach and counsel patients and family caregivers
- Document clinical notes accurately and on time
- Participate in IDT meetings, quality improvement activities, and the on-call rotation
What you'll bring
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and 1-2 years of home care experience
- Valid driver's license and an insured, reliable vehicle
- Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of hospice experience preferred
Physical and working requirements
Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift or transfer patients and equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role involves driving in all weather conditions and may involve exposure to infectious diseases.
