Digital Video Solutions, Inc. (DVS), established in 2008, provides electronic security solutions to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. DVS’ capabilities include design, installation, support, and monitoring of leading-edge video surveillance, access control, intercom, network, and telecommunications technologies.
DVS is searching for a Senior Sales Executive to develop new client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic region.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Sales Executive sells electronic security solutions to business and government clients in urban areas throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The successful candidate will have a proven electronic security systems commercial sales track record, strong written and verbal communications skills, the ability to organize and structure his/her work schedule, comfort with presenting to prospective customers both in-person and online, and the capability of using information technology and social media for lead generation and sales productivity. Training and mentoring in DVS electronic security solutions will be available. Benefits include health insurance and 401k with company match.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Electronic security services business development
- Develop new customers through research, prospecting, and outreach
- Leverage industry knowledge into new sales opportunities
- Utilize business-oriented social media platforms to broaden customer awareness
- Conduct customer meetings both in-person and online
- Proposal generation, follow-up, and closure
- Account Management
- Ongoing customer contact to confirm satisfaction with services provided by DVS
- Proactively identify customer service issues for resolution by DVS Support team
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in electronic security systems sales and account management roles
- Proven track record of generating $1M to $3M in annual sales of electronic security systems
- Demonstrated customer communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred
- Satisfactory background check
- At least 3 professional references
