What we are hiring for:
- Employees are needed for the Mississippi Valley Fair and other events.
Education And Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Eighteen years of age or older for events.
- Twenty-one years or older for our On-call, Part & Full-time positions.
- Valid driver's license.
- We would love to see anyone with 3 years of US Military service.
Knowledge And Skills:
- Exhibit oral communication and the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to handle situations at the client's site with a calm and de-escalating demeanor most efficiently.
- Surveillance skills and detailed orientation.
- Physical requirements, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and safety of the premises by conducting regular patrols and monitoring surveillance equipment.
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance to handle any security incidents effectively.
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations and maintain a secure environment.
- Provide first aid assistance when needed and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as required.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and maintain a secure environment for customers and staff.
