Machine Technician

We are looking for a Machine Technician to join our production team and play an important role in keeping our equipment, products, and processes running at a high level. DMP provides a clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit facility designed to provide a comfortable and professional work environment for our employees.

This position is Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight.

What You’ll Do

As a Machine Technician, you’ll have a hands-on role supporting both equipment and production. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and help keep machinery operating reliably.
• Work with small components and manually insert components into printed circuit boards.
• Assemble and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Package completed products according to established instructions.
• Read and follow prints, drawings, samples, Bills of Materials, and written work instructions.
• Accurately complete production, quality, and maintenance documentation.
• Follow established safety procedures and help maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Meet production goals while maintaining our quality standards.
• Use error-proofing procedures and look for opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and shorten cycle times.
• Follow company policies and Data Classification Standards

Ideal candidates will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work comfortably with small components.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in neat, accurate work.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to accurately record production activity and observations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a positive work attitude.
• Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers across the organization.
