Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree
- At least one year experience coordinating special events
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills and speaking
- Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments with little supervision
- Flexible with overtime.
- Any other equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Negotiate contracts and book event space, arrange food and beverage, ensure appropriate décor and solicit entertainment for Christmas party.
- Plan, schedule and manage approximately 5 off-site Dealer Events – securing meeting space, room blocks, food/beverage, promotions, invitations and RSVPs year-round. Expect 3-4 travel days/event.
- Plan and coordinate Summer and Winter Summits, including promotion, food/beverage, and evening activities.
- Negotiate contracts for the Picnic, including food/beverage vendors and entertainment company.
- Support Project100’s vision and DMP’s charitable acts, including annual company-wide volunteer night.
- Plan and coordinate 4 Quarterly PDT lunches/Summit, including promotion, food/beverage, and additional activities, as needed.
- Creatively celebrate sales milestones.
