About the roleDigital Edge is looking for a social, energetic college student or graduate to represent us at tech conferences and networking events. You'll meet tech leaders, start real conversations, and turn new connections into potential business for our team.
If you love technology, enjoy meeting new people, and want to launch a career in tech sales, this is your starting point. No prior sales experience is required. We'll teach you the rest.
What you'll do- Research and track the events
- Attend tech conferences, meetups, and networking events across the tri-state area
- Represent Digital Edge and introduce our company to tech leaders, founders, and decision-makers
- Build genuine connections and identify potential leads for the business
- Register and track every new connection in our system with notes from your conversation
- Schedule follow-up calls between promising contacts and the Digital Edge management team
- Stay in touch with your connections and nurture those relationships over time
- A current college student or graduate looking for an entry-level role in tech sales
- Passionate about technology and curious about how tech companies grow
- Outgoing and social: you get along with people easily and enjoy starting conversations
- Eager to build relationships and grow a professional network
- Organized enough to keep track of contacts and follow through on next steps
- Available to attend tech and networking events in the tri-state area, including some evenings
Nice to have: coursework or interest in business, marketing, communications, or computer science; experience in customer-facing roles, student clubs, or event organizing.
Pay and schedulePay: $20 per hour
Hours: Part-time; schedule varies by availability and is agreed on during the interview
Location: Events across the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut)
Frequency: Weekly
