- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience
- Deep proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C , Python, or similar
- Strong experience in software architecture, system design, and large-scale software integration
- Proven ability to own and evolve complex software subsystems or platforms
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
- Advanced proficiency with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex, cross-system technical issues
- Strong technical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams without formal authority
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD), automated testing, and quality frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience developing software for industrial, embedded, or mission-critical systems
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and leading technical initiatives
- Exposure to long-lifecycle, reliability-critical software environments
