Job Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of DigiFinex’s global executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the company’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal discipline, and enabling sustainable global growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management — including corporate finance, treasury operations, budgeting, investment planning, risk management, and compliance — while driving alignment between financial strategy and DigiFinex’s broader business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial executive with deep expertise in digital finance, capital markets, and fintech operations, capable of leading a complex global financial organization through rapid expansion while maintaining transparency, efficiency, and regulatory integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

Develop and implement DigiFinex’s global financial strategy to support sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term competitiveness.

Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights, forecasts, and performance analysis.

Define financial KPIs, operational targets, and capital allocation frameworks to guide business decision-making.

Advise the executive leadership team on funding strategies, investment opportunities, and financial risk mitigation.

Global Financial Management & Governance

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, planning, and treasury management across global entities.

Ensure full compliance with international financial regulations, audit standards, and tax frameworks.

Strengthen financial governance, transparency, and internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements, investor reports, and board-level presentations.

Americas Expansion & Capital Operations

Support the financial establishment of DigiFinex’s U.S. subsidiary, ensuring efficient capital deployment and operational readiness.

Develop regional financial models that align with U.S. market dynamics, tax structures, and compliance requirements.

Partner with investment and operations teams to evaluate M&A, joint ventures, and partnership opportunities in the Americas.

Represent DigiFinex in discussions with financial institutions, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Investment & Treasury Oversight

Oversee the company’s treasury, liquidity, and investment portfolios, ensuring stability and strategic asset allocation.

Manage capital structure optimization, funding mechanisms, and foreign exchange risk exposure.

Collaborate with investment teams to assess new opportunities in crypto markets, blockchain projects, and financial innovation.

Implement performance monitoring systems to ensure optimal return on capital and prudent risk management.

Risk Management & Compliance

Establish a global financial risk management framework covering market, liquidity, and operational risks.

Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and other regulatory standards related to financial operations.

Partner with internal audit, legal, and compliance departments to enhance governance and reporting integrity.

Lead crisis and contingency planning to ensure financial resilience in volatile market environments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate closely with strategy, product, and technology leaders to align financial priorities with business goals.

Mentor and lead global finance teams to foster accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Drive the adoption of advanced financial technologies, analytics tools, and automation to enhance reporting and forecasting accuracy.

Promote a culture of financial discipline and strategic alignment throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Over 20 years of financial leadership experience, including senior executive roles in financial services, fintech, or blockchain industries.

Proven track record of managing global financial operations, strategic planning, and investment oversight.

Deep understanding of capital markets, digital assets, and crypto-related financial ecosystems.

Strong expertise in financial reporting, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline required; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred.
