What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and present meals that are nutritious, appealing, and consistent
- Accurately follow therapeutic diet and texture modifications (must-have requirement)
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards at all times
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
- Support the Head Chef and management with additional duties as assigned
- Serve meals and provide courteous assistance to residents
- Experience in long-term care required
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and textures required
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
- Reliable, team-focused, and detail-oriented
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
