The Lead Sales and Customer Service Associate- The UPS Store provides customers with efficient and effective service to exceed expectations while promoting products and services to meet their needs.
What You Will Do
- Act on behalf of the Store Manager as a secondary key holder.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, identifying needs, promoting products and services, and recommending additional solutions.
- Maintain professional store operations, including associate appearance standards, merchandising, stocking, inventory awareness, and housekeeping duties.
- Accurately process mail, printing requests, sales transactions, and incoming/outgoing shipments using POS and shipment management systems.
- Package shipments, generate labels, assist customers with office equipment, and process damaged, lost, or late shipment claims.
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation of cash, checks, credit cards, and other transactions according to company procedures.
- Must be able to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends.

Education & Experience
- 1 year of related experience required, prior retail experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Point of Sale (POS) and computer experience are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Software, or the ability to learn new software, is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform all essential job duties satisfactorily and efficiently.
