Experience & Qualifications Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Systems Design, Technology Strategy, or related technical leadership roles.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in large enterprise environments with complex application, infrastructure, and integration landscapes.
- Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-scale technology solutions across multiple business functions and technology platforms.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, IT leadership, architecture review boards, and delivery teams to drive architecture decisions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, solution design methodologies, integration patterns, cloud technologies, and governance practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Architecture certifications and advanced technical credentials are preferred.
Functional Skills Requirements
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand business goals, technical requirements, current-state systems, and organizational constraints.
- Design enterprise solutions including architecture models, system interactions, integration patterns, technology selections, and implementation approaches.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, data governance practices, and technology roadmaps.
- Develop architecture assessments, technical recommendations, transition strategies, and future-state solution roadmaps.
- Present solution recommendations to architecture review boards, senior IT leadership, and project stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and cross-functional discussions to evaluate options, resolve dependencies, and drive decision-making.
- Provide architecture guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle and review detailed designs for alignment with approved solutions.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation including solution diagrams, decision records, architecture standards, and governance artifacts.
Business & Leadership Requirements
- Lead cross-functional architecture discussions and establish alignment across business, technology, and delivery teams.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, technology leaders, implementation partners, and external vendors.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, design tradeoffs, and implementation considerations throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Support enterprise technology transformation initiatives through architecture leadership and governance.
- Drive structured problem-solving and decision-making processes across complex business and technology challenges.
Technical Expertise Requirements
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, security architecture, infrastructure, and data platforms.
- Experience designing solutions that span multiple systems, business domains, and technology teams.
- Ability to evaluate multiple solution options and provide recommendations based on scalability, cost, maintainability, business value, and risk.
- Experience working with enterprise architecture frameworks, architecture modeling practices, and governance processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud and enterprise technologies including platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, and Databricks.
- Experience supporting technology modernization, digital transformation, data initiatives, and enterprise integration programs.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with automotive OEMs, mobility organizations, manufacturing companies, or similar complex enterprise environments.
- Experience in consulting, professional services, or client-facing architecture roles.
- Experience collaborating with global teams, external vendors, system integrators, and implementation partners.
- Experience operating within formal architecture governance and review board structures.
Work Arrangement Requirements
- Hybrid work model with Charlotte, NC as the preferred work location.
- Open to candidates located within reasonable commuting distance to support onsite collaboration as needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% to 25% within the United States, with occasional international travel.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed global teams and client stakeholders.
Work Authorization
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Compensation (All-In)
- $160,000 - $180,000 USD Total Compensation
- Includes base salary and performance-based incentive opportunities.
- Placement within the range depends on experience, location, qualifications, architecture expertise, and enterprise leadership capabilities.
