Position Summary
The Aftersales Systems Analyst supports Aftersales and IT stakeholders by assessing and recommending platforms that enable core Aftersales capabilities. You will translate defined business capabilities into system requirements, scan the market, evaluate vendors, and prepare decision-ready materials. You will support workshops that are led by a designated lead and coordinate with Group IT where adoption of Group platforms is appropriate. There is no existing brownfield in the US environment. SAP for ERP and Salesforce are under consideration. Near term success includes a pragmatic 6-to-12-month roadmap of systems aligned with Group direction and US needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own capability to system assessments for Aftersales, including functional and non-functional requirements, current to target mapping, and gap analysis.
- Conduct market research, RFIs, and vendor demos, and build comparison scorecards and proof of value plans.
- Evaluate build versus buy options and model TCO, licensing, run costs, implementation effort, and risks.
- Coordinate with Group IT on reuse and adoption of Group platforms and standards where appropriate.
- Document integration assumptions with Enterprise IT including APIs, events, data contracts, security, performance, and data quality.
- Produce concise option briefs, recommendations, and decision logs for steering forums
- Support, not lead, cross functional workshops, vendor sessions, and alignment meetings.
- Prepare onboarding readiness for selected platforms including initial epics and use cases, acceptance criteria, and inputs for security, compliance, and procurement.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience considered
Preferred
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Product Owner, or relevant business analysis or architecture credentials.
- Familiarity with automotive Aftersales domains including parts, service, warranty, dealer systems, and service scheduling.
- Experience adopting corporate or Group platforms in a global context.
- Exposure to SAP ERP, Salesforce, and modern data and integration platforms.
Experience
- 5 to 8 years in business or systems analysis, solution consulting, or platform analysis in enterprise settings.
- Demonstrated vendor evaluation experience including RFI or RFP design, scoring models, ROI and TCO analysis, and executive ready recommendation documents.
- Hands on experience defining functional and non-functional requirements, process and capability modeling, and traceability to business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of integration patterns including REST APIs, events, and iPaaS, and core data concepts such as master data, product and parts, pricing, and warranty.
- Experience coordinating with security, compliance, procurement, and delivery teams for platform onboarding.

- Business Analysis: ability to translate capability needs into clear requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Evaluation and Decision Support: ability to compare options, quantify tradeoffs, and communicate risk and cost with clarity.
- Technical Acumen: understanding of ERP and CRM platforms, integration and data flows, and non-functional requirements.
- Communication: structured writing and facilitation support that produces decision quality artifacts.
- Collaboration: effective coordination across Aftersales, IT, Group IT, security, procurement, and vendor partners.
Travel
- Willingness to travel up to 15% (Subject to business needs)
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Standard office environment: use typical office equipment and sit/stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods while traveling by car or airplane.
