Eminence Dickson Health and Rehab is seeking a dependable and professional Weekend & Holiday Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our facility. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
The Receptionist will be responsible for managing incoming calls, greeting and screening visitors, and ensuring proper check-in and check-out procedures are followed in accordance with facility policies.
Schedule
- Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) 10:30a - 6:30pm
- Holidays as needed
- Typical shift hours may vary based on facility needs
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
- Greet all visitors, vendors, and guests upon arrival
- Monitor facility entrance and ensure secure access at all times
- Check visitors in and out according to facility protocols
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure accuracy of records
- Provide general information and assist visitors as needed
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and leadership regarding visitors or concerns
- Monitor lobby activity and report any unusual or suspicious behavior
- Assist with administrative tasks as assigned (filing, paperwork, etc.)
- Ensure confidentiality of resident and facility information (HIPAA compliance)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable attendance, especially on weekends and holidays
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Occasional walking and light lifting (up to 15 lbs)
