Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks to support drilling, extraction, and transportation activities
- Assist with pipeline installation, maintenance, and inspection to ensure integrity and safety standards are met
- Set up and manage rigging operations for lifting heavy components or machinery on oil rigs and construction sites
- Support pump operation and pumping systems to facilitate fluid movement within production processes
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection to ensure safety during outdoor work in potentially hazardous environments
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, and work areas following OSHA guidelines to maintain compliance and prevent accidents
- Collaborate with team members on horizontal drilling projects and other specialized oil & gas operations while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to oil rig operations, pumping systems, and construction machinery
- Familiarity with pipeline installation, maintenance procedures, and integrity testing
- Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to construction sites and oil & gas operations
- Experience working on construction sites or in outdoor environments with a focus on safety compliance
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for tanker or truck driving roles
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
