Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash handling procedures with precision
• Provide excellent customer service by taking food service orders, answering inquiries, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring sanitation standards are met in food preparation areas and customer zones
• Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety management and sanitation protocols
• Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently followed during service
• Support team members with operating kitchen equipment and managing food service customer orders in a quick-service environment
• Uphold a positive work environment by managing time effectively, supporting team collaboration, and maintaining a fast-paced workflow

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, or retail sales transactions is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and process cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
• Previous cashiering or restaurant experience will help you excel in this energetic role
