Duties

• Assist the General Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the restaurant's daily operations to ensure that all aspects of the business meet the highest standards.
• Oversee the restaurant's front and back of house, including the dining room, bar, and kitchen areas.
• Supervise and train staff, providing coaching and support to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies and ensuring that the restaurant is always stocked with the necessary items.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Assist with food production, including preparing ingredients and plating dishes.
• Manage the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and efficient.
• Maintain compliance with all food handling and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests have a positive dining experience.
• Participate in staff training and development, helping to improve skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.

Skills

• Proven leadership skills, with experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager or in a related management role.
• Strong knowledge of casual dining and bar operations.
• Excellent food handling and production skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Ability to train and develop staff, with a focus on customer service and food production.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
