Job Overview

Duties

- Supervise and train staff, providing coaching and support to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies and ensuring that the restaurant is always stocked with the necessary items.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Assist with food production, including preparing ingredients and plating dishes.
- Manage the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and efficient.
- Maintain compliance with all food handling and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests have a positive dining experience.
- Participate in staff training and development, helping to improve skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
Skills
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Experience as an Assistant Manager or in a related management role.
- Strong knowledge of casual dining and bar operations.
- Excellent food handling and production skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems and ability to learn new systems quickly.
