Duties
- Assist with food preparation to ensure timely and quality service in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Support front-of-house operations by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining sanitation standards
- Help with food handling and safety procedures to meet health regulations and ensure customer safety
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and cash handling
- Engage with customers through friendly service, upselling menu items, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Restock supplies and organize kitchen or café areas to optimize efficiency during busy hours
- Support team members with basic math calculations for transactions, retail math tasks, or inventory checks
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, or retail environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong food handling knowledge and understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a positive, energetic approach
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory
