Dick Van Dyke Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Appliance Installer to join our delivery and installation team. This position is responsible for delivering, installing, and connecting appliances in customers’ homes while providing excellent customer service. We are committed to training the right candidate and helping them grow into a long‑term, successful career with us.

Delivery Appliance Installer Compensation Structure

• Paid training (3–4 weeks): $17.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
• Post‑training annual earnings: $40,000–$60,000
• Up to $500 monthly performance bonus (details discussed during interview)

Delivery Appliance Installer Job Responsibilities

• Installation: Install appliances according to company policies and manufacturer specifications
• Delivery: Load and unload appliances from non‑CDL box trucks and deliver to residential homes
• Testing: Test all appliances after installation to ensure proper operation
• Mechanical Work:
• Remove and reinstall appliance and residential doors
• Attach hoses to plumbing fixtures
• Connect electrical cords and gas/water lines safely
• Customer Service:
• Clean neat professional appearance
• Provide professional, courteous customer experience
• Educate customers on how to use their new appliances
• Safety:
• Proper lifting techniques while wearing cut resistant gloves provided by the company
• Ensure safe gas, water, and electrical connections have been performed
• Report all safety, health, or fire concerns
• Maintenance:
• Keep work areas and trucks clean, safe, and organized
  
  
  

Delivery Appliance Installer Skills and qualifications:

• Pass a background & drug test (REQUIRED)
• Clean driving history
• Able to obtain a DOT card (DOT Physical Exam) within 3 weeks of employment (REQUIRED)
• Able to pass a Class C driving exam within 3 weeks of employment (REQUIRED)
• Work Saturdays
• Ability to safely lift 50 to 75 pounds on a repetitive basis
