Safety and Training Administrator
Are you passionate about workplace safety and helping others learn? We are seeking a Safety and Training Administrator to join our safety team!
This position reports to the Operations Resource Manager and plays a critical role in auditing and maintaining the integrity of the safety programs. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining safe working environments, auditing workplace and food safety programs, coordinating training programs, and ensuring our team stays up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
Main Responsibilities·
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with OSHA, DOT and Food Safety regulations.·
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and workplace processes.·
- Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near-misses; document reports and recommend improvements.·
- Coordinate and deliver safety and job-specific training for new and current employees.· Maintain accurate training records and certifications.·
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local safety requirements.·
- Promote safety awareness through meetings, presentations, and internal communications.·
- Develop, update, and conduct emergency response plans and drills.·
- Stay current with safety trends and regulations; recommend best practices to leadership.
Qualifications·
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).·
- At least 2 years of experience in safety administration, auditing and/or training, ideally in food distribution or warehousing.·
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations, DOT Regulations and/or food safety standards (SQF, HACCP, GMP, etc.).·
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.·
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.·
- Relevant safety certifications (Auditing, HACCP, SQF Practitioner, OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) are a plus.
Working Environment·
- Combination of office and warehouse settings, including exposure to cold storage and warehouse equipment.·
- Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.·
- Some regional travel between locations.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
