We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sprouter and Granola Baker to join our vibrant food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, nutritious sprouted Nuts and seeds and granola from start to finish, ensuring each batch meets our quality standards. Responsibilities
Sprouting Nuts and Seeds and:
- Prepare and mix ingredients for sprouted granola according to established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Operate baking equipment and oversee the baking process to achieve optimal texture and flavor
- Package finished granola products with attention to presentation and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ingredient replenishment
- Support the team in food preparation tasks, including measuring, portioning, and quality checks
- Ensure all products are produced efficiently while maintaining consistency in taste and appearance
Qualifications
- Previous experience not required. Baking food production is preferred, especially with granola or cereal-based products
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Food Handler certificate required
- Kitchen experience with knife skills, baking techniques, and culinary knowledge not required but a nice addition.
- Skills when interacting with team members or visitors
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail a must!
- One on one 2-3 week training

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
