Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Family Law Attorney role based in Tulsa, OK. The attorney will manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, visitation, support, and property division, from initial intake through resolution. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, analyzing legal issues, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery, and conducting depositions when necessary. The attorney will appear in court for hearings, trials, and conferences, negotiate settlements, and maintain detailed case files and documentation. The role also involves collaborating with staff, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with firm procedures and professional ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with a focus on Family Law, including divorce, custody, support, and related Legal Issues.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing Motions, and preparing and conducting Depositions.
- Active license to practice law in Oklahoma, in good standing.
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills, including legal research, drafting, and courtroom presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to client service, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
- Prior family law experience in a law firm is required.
