WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
As our Lead Estimator, you lead the estimating effort-supported by ownership-translating plans, specs, and bid documents into clear takeoffs and competitive proposals. You'll select and price equipment, materials, labor, and accessories, generate technical equipment submittals that align with customer requirements, and keep everyone aligned through daily bid updates and addendum reviews. Your phone and email communication keeps teammates, GCs, and Vendors in sync; your accuracy and attention to detail keep our bids sharp; and your professionalism ensures the process flows. You'll also follow management direction and handle related duties as needed-because you're the kind of selfmotivated team player who takes pride in doing things right.
What You'll Need:
- Proficiency with onscreen digital estimating tools like BlueBeam or Trimble
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially ExcelOutlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong ability to read plans and technical specs
- Ability to occasionally work outside standard hours when needed
- Willingness to travel for outoftown job site walks or training
- Aboveaverage written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Effective time management with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects
