Human Resources Manager
Job Summary:
Diamondback Industries is seeking an HR Manager to serve as the primary Human Resources resource for approximately 110 employees at our Crowley, Texas manufacturing facility. This role oversees employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, training, HR systems, and employee support programs. This highly visible position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a company where employees are known by name and relationships matter. We are seeking a professional who will build upon Diamondback's strong HR foundation by supporting employees, improving processes, embracing technology, and contributing to our continued growth.
Job Functions:
- Serve as the primary Human Resources resource for employees, managers, and leadership, providing guidance, support, policy interpretation, and resolution of employee-related matters.
- Manage employee relations activities, including performance discussions, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, COBRA, leave administration, and employee benefit education.
- Manage employee leave programs and related processes, including FMLA, workers' compensation claims, return-to-work coordination, accommodations, and required documentation.
- Coordinate and manage recruiting, candidate selection, onboarding, orientation, employee retention initiatives, and employment-related communications.
- Administer and maintain HR systems, employee records, personnel files, timekeeping, reporting, and HR data accuracy, including Paycor and related platforms.
- Coordinate and track employee training, onboarding requirements, compliance tracking, certifications, safety, Hazmat, and other required training programs.
- Coordinate employee badge management, facility access, onboarding and termination access procedures, and related employee administrative functions.
- Partner with leadership to support organizational goals, employee engagement, communication initiatives, and a positive employee experience.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience in employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, or related HR functions.
- Experience administering employee benefits, leave programs, employee relations matters, recruiting, onboarding, and HR activities.
- Must pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) background check.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); Paycor experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and willingness to be hands-on, plus strong communication skills to work collaboratively across teams.
- A college degree is not required. Relevant work experience, professional certifications and education will all be considered.
- Manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, distribution, or production environment experience is preferred.
Physical Job Requirements: This position is office-based and requires regular on-site attendance Monday through Friday. The HR Manager must be able to move throughout office and manufacturing areas, communicate effectively with employees and managers, and utilize standard office equipment. Occasional after-hours support may be required to address employee matters, business needs, or time-sensitive situations.
