Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our dynamic factory environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive factory experience, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This role is vital in ensuring production efficiency, safety compliance, and quality standards are consistently met. The Production Supervisor will coordinate teams on the production line, manage equipment, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Oversee manufacturing operations
- Train and mentor team members on proper use of machinery, assembly techniques, and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas; perform or coordinate maintenance using mechanical knowledge and tools.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources by planning work schedules and coordinating with other departments for smooth workflow.
- Enforce safety policies and conduct safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
- Document production metrics, report issues to management, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting, with a strong understanding of assembly lines and production processes.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment is required, ideally in contract manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and enforce safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as forklift certification or mechanical training are advantageous. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a fast-paced manufacturing setting while contributing to continuous operational improvements.
