Diamond Shores is a full-service land development firm that offers Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, and other related services. We are seeking an experienced Land Survey Crew Chief to fill a key position within our land surveying department. The applicant will be working in conjunction with a Professional Land Surveyor and other Land Surveying professionals to perform various tasks.
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience as a Survey Crew Chief
- Extensive experience conducting boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout
- Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Survey Crew Chiefs are responsible for directing crews of two or more people in successfully completing a variety of field assignments. It is a supervisory position that requires high impact decisions and directing the work of others while continuing to perform the same technical duties as other crew members. The work can be both mentally and physically challenging and must be performed in a wide range of conditions
- This position requires good verbal and written communications skills
- Operation of GPS receivers and robotic total stations
- Computer skills involved in the submittal of daily files
