Mechanic – Diamond R Equipment
Location: Freeburg, MO & Higginsville, MO (Looking for both locations)
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our service department in Freeburg. This role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment, including tractors, skid steers, mowers, utility vehicles, and other ag and outdoor power machinery.
As a key part of our team, you’ll keep equipment moving efficiently and safely while delivering excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on agricultural, lawn, and construction equipment
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, tune-ups, etc.)
- Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, electrical, and transmission systems
- Work with OEM and aftermarket parts to complete accurate repairs
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and parts team
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers when needed
Qualifications
- Previous mechanical experience preferred (ag equipment, diesel, small engines, heavy machinery)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service bulletins
- Comfortable with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license
Helpful but not required: experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, and OEM diagnostic tools.
