Responsibilities:
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities operate smoothly. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs and modifications.
- Apply electrical experience to diagnose and resolve electrical issues within the facility.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Execute facilities maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, and general repairs when needed.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from other departments.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles, preferably in manufacturing settings.
- Experience in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment a plus.
- Previous experience in supervising teams or leading projects is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with team members and management.
