Traveling MEP Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a Traveling Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale mechanical construction projects, including mission-critical data centers. This role requires full-time onsite presence Monday through Friday, with company-provided travel and flights home every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily project coordination, scheduling, and documentation
• Support mechanical scope activities including HVAC, piping, controls, and equipment installations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field leadership, and subcontractors
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reporting
• Monitor field progress, QA/QC, and safety compliance
• Assist with procurement, material management, and cost tracking

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting large mechanical construction projects; data center or mission-critical experience preferred
• Understanding of HVAC, mechanical systems, and construction processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel extensively and remain onsite Monday–Friday
