Mechanical Construction Director of Operations
We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead large-scale mechanical construction operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large teams, complex projects, and multiple project portfolios while driving safety, profitability, quality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop large teams of Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
- Oversee multiple large-scale mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Drive project execution, profitability, scheduling, quality, and safety performance.
- Establish operational strategies, processes, and performance standards.
- Manage client, owner, GC, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
- Review project financials, forecasting, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Identify risks and implement solutions to improve project performance.
- Mentor and develop operational leaders while supporting company growth.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of mechanical construction experience.
- Proven experience leading large teams and complex projects.
- Strong HVAC, piping, plumbing, or MEP background.
- Excellent leadership, financial, communication, and organizational skills.
