Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily on-site activities and subcontractor coordination
- Enforce project safety plans and ensure OSHA compliance
- Support the Superintendent in monitoring the construction schedule and sequencing
- Assist with quality control and ensure work is completed to plans and specifications
- Help track deliveries, materials, and manpower
- Maintain detailed field reports, logs, and photos
- Attend and contribute to subcontractor meetings and inspections
- Serve as a liaison between field staff and office-based project team
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in an Assistant Superintendent or Field Engineer role
- Working knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and safety standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and/or similar construction management software
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between job sites in the LA/Santa Monica area
