Nail Technicians: you should be able to produce detailed, high-quality work without being rushed, overbooked, or physically uncomfortable.
At Diamond Nail Co. we are building a different kind of nail salon—one where talented technicians have the time, support, equipment, and structure needed to do their best work and grow their income.
We are not a discount salon, and we do not compete by offering the lowest price. We compete on quality, consistency, professionalism, and the client experience.
What working here looks like:
- Appointments are scheduled intentionally, with enough time to complete services properly and maintain a clean, consistent standard.
- Technicians are not double-booked, and walk-ins are accepted only when the schedule genuinely allows for them.
- We prioritize ergonomic working positions and professional equipment because a sustainable career should not require constant physical strain.
- Our business model is not based on underpricing services, overbooking technicians, or pushing maximum volume. We would rather provide fewer excellent services than rush through a high number of inconsistent ones.
- Clients are expected to respect appointment times, salon policies, and the value of professional nail care; we stick to our policies to protect our business.
Compensation and growth
We offer all incoming technicians hourly pay through training an onboarding. For experienced technicians we offer an uncapped commission structure, so your earning potential can grow with your performance.
Compensation reviews and adjustments are based on measurable results—not favoritism, vague promises, or how loudly someone asks for a raise.
Performance may be evaluated using factors such as:
- Service revenue
- Client retention and rebooking
- Reliability and attendance
- Service timing and efficiency
As your skills, clientele, consistency, and production grow, your compensation can grow with them.
Our goal is to help technicians increase both the value of their work and their long-term earning potential without sacrificing service quality.
What quality means to us
Quality is more than a beautiful final photo. It includes:
- Proper preparation and application
- Clean shaping and finishing
- Nail health and product integrity
- Strong sanitation practices
- Thorough consultations
- Durable, consistent results
- Professional client communication
We are looking for technicians who take pride in the entire service experience, not only the finished set.
What you can expect from us
- Uncapped commission
- Data-driven compensation reviews
- Structured onboarding and continued training
- Support building and retaining a clientele
- Clear salon policies and professional standards
- Consistent scheduling expectations
- A respectful, team-based work environment
- Opportunities to grow into advanced, leadership, or training roles
- A culture that values collaboration over internal competition
What we expect from you
A quality-focused salon is not a low-expectation salon.
Technicians are expected to:
- Arrive prepared and on time
- Maintain excellent sanitation and station standards
- Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers
- Manage service timing responsibly
- Be dependable and consistent
- Remain open to coaching and feedback
- Take responsibility for improving their skills
- Contribute positively to the team
You may be a strong fit if:
- You would rather complete excellent services than rush through an overloaded schedule.
- You care about technique, nail health, and long-term results.
- You want your earning potential to grow with your performance.
- You value transparent expectations and measurable advancement.
- You are looking for continued development and a long-term salon home.
- You value structure, professionalism, and teamwork.
We are not a walk-in assembly line
We schedule intentionally because our standards are higher—not because expectations are lower.
We believe technicians should be able to build a successful career without accepting constant chaos, physical strain, or burnout as part of the industry.
