About the Role:

The Facility Staffing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a critical role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients within healthcare and social assistance settings. This position is responsible for supporting nursing staff by providing direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents. The CNA will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to monitor patient conditions, report changes, and contribute to individualized care plans. This role demands a strong commitment to patient dignity, privacy, and respect while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Basic understanding of patient care procedures and infection control standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a CNA in a long-term care or acute care facility.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Additional training or certification in specialized care areas such as dementia or hospice care.
• Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance to patients, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation to prevent complications such as pressure ulcers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and common areas, ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support coordinated care and address patient needs promptly.
