Living Support Provider

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Prior experience in a caregiving or support role within healthcare or social assistance settings.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet state-specific requirements for caregiving roles.
• Strong communication skills and basic proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program or equivalent.
• Experience working with elderly, disabled, or chronically ill populations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
• Additional language skills to support diverse client populations.
• Training in specialized care areas such as dementia or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health status, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining proper nutrition.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces to ensure a safe environment.
• Facilitate social interaction and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and confidentiality standards in compliance with healthcare regulations.
