Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing packing machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Your expertise in industrial mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and technical troubleshooting will contribute directly to our operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on packing machinery and related equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical, issues with precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding and other fabrication tasks to repair or modify machinery components as needed.
- Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas of machinery.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by providing support and quick turnaround repairs.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, safety records, and compliance documentation in accordance with industry standards.
Pay: $25.20 - $30.26 per hour
